LED line lights usually use aluminum as the heat sink, and the larger the contact area between the heat sink and the air, the more conducive it is to heat dissipation. The whole lamp works stably, with low light decay and long service life; Ball bulbs and ceiling spotlights should not have too large ventilation holes to prevent mosquitoes and insects from crawling in during use, affecting the lighting effect or causing unnecessary damage.
When it rains or snows and the lights are turned off for rest, the temperature inside the LED line lamp body will sharply decrease. The sharp temperature drop will cause the warm space inside the lamp housing to produce even greater air pressure. At this time, air or gas will secretly enter the lamp body through the sealed gap and condense into water droplets. Once water droplets are produced inside the sealed lamp body, they are not easily discharged. Water droplets that cannot be discharged for a long time will corrode electronic components inside the lamp body, seriously affecting the life of the LED line lamp.
If there is no need to consider issues with the driver and power supply, one manifestation of the lifespan of high-power LED line lights is "light decay", which means that the longer they are used, the lower their brightness will be until the lifespan is exhausted and the light will turn off.
The problem of glue filling is that the glue under the glass surface should be relatively good, as the large amount of glue can affect the solidification effect. Secondly, many people need to know how to cover the glass, because the amount of silicone pressed under the glass is different due to the different force. Here, what I widely demand is to tighten it. There is also the issue of waterproof and breathable valves. Some high-end styles will use waterproof and breathable valves. The principle of waterproof and breathable valves is to prevent water from entering while air can enter. In rainy days, when the LED line lights are rapidly cooled by rainwater, the waterproof and breathable valves can accelerate the temperature inside and outside the lamp body to be consistent, so that the pressure change will not be too drastic, avoiding damage to the internal components of the lamp body. It is also conducive to heat dissipation and accelerating air convection. Just these few points, well made LED line lights can easily achieve an IP65 or higher effect.
High quality LED line lights must have the same light color, without the appearance of yellow or other light colors. If you don't know how to distinguish, you can come up with a small method, which is to turn on these lights and observe their color changes to get the desired answer. Due to the high brightness of LED line lights, it is difficult to determine the brightness of two brands of the same type of lights under the same conditions by directly observing and comparing them with the eyes, and this can also easily harm the eyesight of the eyes. We usually recommend covering the light source with a piece of white paper, attenuating the light through the white paper, and then comparing it. This makes it easier to see the difference in brightness of the light, and the higher the brightness, the better.
